Una palabra describe perfectamente, para mi gusto, el último trabajo de Placebo: tremendo. Igual de ecléctico que los anteriores, sin perder su oscuridad subyacente y una amargura que resulta más agridulce que desesperada. Trece temas para oir de un tirón y abandonar tu cobertura humana.
Y por fin, se hizo la luz. O mejor dicho, los infrarrojos. Una muy acertada elección de Placebo como tercer single, la de Infra-Red. Un regusto metálico acompaña a la voz de Brian Molko y un estribillo con potencia para hacerte subir por la pared, Infra-Red es de esas canciones que te llenan de una energía extraña que te impulsa a no quedarte quieto, deseando expulsar fuera de ti las sensaciones que este gran tema cuela en tus venas.
Este nuevo single se ha visto provocado en parte por la gran aceptación que tiene la canción en los conciertos en directo. Estará disponible para descarga (legal) en Internet a partir del 5 de junio y se lanzará en el Reino Unido el 19 de ese mismo mes.
